Step into an authentic local bakery to watch Shoti (traditional canoe-shaped Georgian bread) stick directly to the walls of a roaring clay Tone oven. Arrive at the peaceful, cypress-lined Bodbe Monastery complex. This sacred active nunnery serves as the final resting place of Saint Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist who brought Christianity to Georgia.
